Ben Lawder: Atlanta, GA, United States; I am by no means a professional photographer...I'm just someone who loves to travel. I've visited more than 30 countries and follow two very simple rules when it comes to taking pictures: (1)“If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff.” - National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson (2) "If you take enough pictures, you're bound to get at least a couple that are good." - My beautiful wife I shot with simple point-and-shoot cameras until my purchase of a Canon Rebel XT DSLR in January 2006. I upgraded to a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR in August 2010. I typically use a Canon 28-135mm IS lens but also own an 18-55mm IS lens and a 55-250mm IS lens. I also rented a 100-400mm telephoto lens for our 2009 trip to Africa (great move). Enjoy.
